Our Story: Back Home to Support WNY

I grew up right here in Hornell and the surrounding area. After spending years living and working in larger metro areas like Kansas City and Indianapolis, my family and I knew where our hearts truly belonged. We returned home to the Southern Tier—to the community we love, the people we cherish, and the local businesses that form the backbone of our towns.

We started Alfred Web Design in 2018 because we noticed a frustrating trend: local small businesses in Alfred, Hornell, Wellsville, Belmont, and Almond were trusting big-name corporate platforms like GoDaddy, Wix, and Vistaprint. Business owners thought they were saving money by doing it themselves or buying template bundles. But in reality, those platforms lock you into expensive monthly subscription loops, rigid templates that look generic, and hidden costs that add up quickly.

We are local, but we are not expensive. By eliminating massive office overhead and focusing on clean, blazing-fast serverless code, we deliver custom websites, premium logos, and professional print graphics that cost less than DIY builders over time, and bring far greater value.
